Single Malt Scotch Whisky
DISTILLED AT: Kinclaith Distillery
Region: Lowland
Kinclaith is one of the rarest and most sought after whiskies ever produced. The distillery had a very short history with most of its production being used in blended whisky and, as a result, there have been very few bottlings of Kinclaith as a Single Malt. The distillery was built in 1957 within the Strathclyde grain distillery complex. It was the last to be built in Glasgow but closed only 18years later in 1975 when the decision was taken to increase the capacity on the site for the production of Strathclyde grain whisky.
